2018 Community Arts Grants

Community Arts grants support arts and cultural activities of artists and organizations in service to residents in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga counties. These activities increase the value of the arts as an integral part of the community and make the arts accessible to all.

Examples of previously funded projects includes mural creation, summer concert series, poetry readings, folk art programing, and glassmaking workshops.

Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 are available to artists and nonprofit organizations. More detailed information on eligibilty and qualification is found in the grant guidelines:

The application deadline is 11:59pm on Monday, October 30, 2017.

All submitted applications must include a completed budget form. The budget form is an Excel spreadsheet. If you don't have Microsoft Office, there are a number of free options available such as Google Drive or Open Office.
