Art in the Park Taste of Olean

Come Soak Up the Art and Savor the Flavors
Regional artists and artisans will be exhibiting and selling their work at the 67th annual Art in the Park on Sunday, July 24 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. presented by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council simultaneously with the Taste of Olean, sponsored by the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce. Art in the Park is a one-day juried outdoor art exhibition that is dedicated to enhancing and promoting the visual arts and the talented artists and artisans in the area.
In order to avoid the street reconstruction on North Union Street, Art in the Park / Taste of Olean will be held at War Vets Park, at the corner of Front and East State Street, across from Bradner Stadium.
There is something for everyone at Art in the Park / Taste of Olean 2016: visitors can tour the various tent galleries, talk to the artists about their work, and purchase pieces while children play in the bounce houses or on the playground. Get something to eat at Taste of Olean and hear live performances on the stage. At the Cattaraugus County Arts Council booth watch potters working on a potter’s wheel, learn about art classes, festivals and available community arts grants, as well as enter a free drawing to win pottery pieces. Wander through this beautiful park of mature shade trees, eat at the many picnic tables, or in the dining pavilion, and take a dip in the public pool. This is a family-friendly destination with everything you need to enjoy a summer day!
