The ARTS Council has served the needs of individual artists, cultural institutions, and schools with innovative programming, gallery opportunities, grants administration and the continuous development of collaborative partnerships. Giving to an Endowment is an investment in the future of the arts community. The ARTS Council will only use up to 4% of interest earned and never use the capital. Programming
The ARTS Council has served over 300 individual artists and nearly 100 organizations in FY2018. Innovative programming has increased our reach and assists artists in the Market Street area and beyond.
- Our juried Solo Show Program has resulted in a 60% increase in Artist Membership and an increase in commissions going directly to artists. The Solo Show Program also creates an opportunity to establish mentoring relationships between emerging and established artists.

Our statistics have shown dramatic increases in interest in these events. Attendance has nearly doubled from FY2016 – FY2018. This Endowment Campaign will allow us to continue creating programming to adapt to the needs of our communities!
Grant Opportunities
The Endowment Campaign will allow The ARTS Council to create an Artist Fellowship to be awarded annually in the Southern Finger Lakes. This opportunity will provide unrestricted funding for artists to devote time to creative projects that will further their careers.
