The Cornell Concert Series presents a virtual concert by Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo. Her name, which translates to “Goddess of Melody and Song,” was given to her by a holy man at birth in Tibet, and she later relocated to Dharamshala, India, in order to continue her Buddhist spiritual practice. Yungchen then began performing throughout the world, signing with Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records. This concert will be available for free for 14 days at cornellconcertseries.com
All events above are free and open to the public. Campus visitors and members of the public must adhere to Cornell’s public health requirements for events, which include wearing masks while indoors and providing proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test.
