As we are approaching the 20th Anniversary of September 11, the Dormann Library has invited local historian, Kirk House, to discuss this world changing event on Friday, September 10th at 4:00pm. He will be presenting a talk entitled: A Many-Sided Tragedy: September 11 and Its Aftermath.

The presentation’s focus will be as follows: As the 21 st century dawned, the September 11 terrorist
attacks seemed to usher in an entire new age. But the genesis of this tragedy lay a hundred years earlier. And the response, more than the attack itself, has spawned a new era. Please be aware that masks will be required to attend this presentation regardless of vaccination status.
