If you are tired of fixing your hems with staples and using safety pins to hold your shirt closed when a button pops off, the Dormann Library has a program for you! On Thursday, February 17, we are offering a program called “Buttons, Hems, and Holes” as part of our Adulting 101 series of classes. Join professional seamstress, Dawn Champaign (who has over 50 years of sewing experience), from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the library and learn what you need to know to fix those inconvenient sewing emergencies. The class will provide hands-on experience and is geared for those aged 16 and up. There is limited space, so call the library at 607-776-4613, get in touch through Facebook, or stop in to reserve your spot today.
Need some help with fixing your mending? Come to the Dormann Library on Thursday, February 17 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for our first Adulting 101 class: “Buttons, Hems and Holes.”
