WCA/NH offers a rich variety of juried and non-juried exhibition opportunities to our members, which include painters, sculptors, ceramicists, mixed-media artists, photographers, fiber artists, stained glass artists, video and digital artists, printmakers, jewelers and bead artists, and more! Some exhibits are exclusivly for WCA/NH members; some are open to all artists. Check each prospectus for details.

The Art Center is an award-winning creative community with over 6,000 square feet of space in a renovated historic mill building at One Washington Street in downtown Dover, NH, with a mission to support the creation, display, and sale of artwork by its residents, members, and community partnerships, while educating and fostering cultural awareness.

Jurors:
Laura Morrison is a fiber artist residing in New Hampshire. Her work is a fusion of fiber art techniques, such as felting, embroidery, weaving, crochet, and knitting, resulting in a variety of sculptures, assemblages, installations, and wall works. Her work has been exhibited nationally, and she has been commissioned twice to create public art for The NH State Council on the Arts Percent for Art program.
Morrison holds the position of Past President for the National Women’s Caucus for Art from 2020-2022. She is the gallery director for Twiggs Gallery in Boscawen, NH where she curates local and regional exhibitions. Additionally, she has served as a juror for the NH State Council on the Arts. Gail Smuda is the founder of the Women’s Caucus for Art, New Hampshire Chapter. Starting her career as a painter artist Smuda has been creating limited edition and one of a kind books for the last several decades. Her book works have been included in juried exhibitions in 48 states as well as Ireland and Australia. Currently working in book arts and fiber, often combining the two, Smuda has exhibited in 47 states and received two Individual Artist Grants from the State of New Hampshire. Retrospective exhibitions were mounted at the University of Massachusetts/Lowell and Southern NH University. For a decade prior to retirement, she taught art history and drawing at Southern NH University.
