Chemung County Landfill FREE Open House: September 15, 12:00-3:00pm
Join FCRW and our business sponsors Casella, operators of the Chemung County Landfill, for a FREE tour of the facility to learn what appropriate waste management is all about. This event will include a general guided facility tour, information on ground water management (which is important to our rivers and streams), gas monitoring and management, and their work towards conservation on their land buffers (specifically their active beehives).
