Hilltop Plein Air workshop will give painters an opportunity to work outdoors in the woods and meadow settings. In the Endless Mountains of PA, 30 minutes from Binghamton. Learn amazing techniques from a master plein air painter. There will be two sessions each day-mornings 9:30 am-12:30 pm and afternoon 2:30- 5:30 pm-on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is an evening get together on Thursday to meet everyone and get familiar with the setting. We will use gazebos and covered porch areas for rainy weather. We will also spend a day painting off site at a Quaker Lake location. The workshop is led by Lisa Lebofsky, a nomadic plein air painter, collaborating with nature and people. She paints the susceptibility of nature, correlating its restlessness with our own human vulnerabilities. Her direct participation with the landscape is vital to imbue a painting with the energy of a specific place, so that viewers can connect viscerally: to move, excite and engage them. She exhibits at Carol Corey Fine Art, Kent, CT, Franklin Bowles Galleries, NY,NY, Artemis Gallery, Northeast Harbor, ME and more.
