Watson Homestead


A family-friendly festival to celebrate the Native American Culture. Free Admission and Free Parking.

The Native American Cultural Celebration features a wide variety of entertainment. There will be Live Drumming, Singing & Traditional Dance, Arts & Crafts, Intertribal Teachings, Hands-on Native Games, Native American Food, and much more. Rain or Shine!

There is much to be enjoyed throughout the two-day event, with traditional programs and demonstrations scheduled (Story-tellings, Artisan, Craft, Flintknapping, native food, and much more) inter-mingled with the talents of some performing groups (Native American dancing, drumming, and more).

Featured regularly in the Performance Circle are:

–    The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers, the oldest resident Native American Dance Company in New York,

–   The Nahui Ollin Aztec Dancers, representing the Salinas Family of Mexico City Mexico, and

–    The Old Bridge Singers, a singing/drumming group from Connecticut.

The Annual Native Nations Festival is organized by Seven Generations of Stewards, a local Not-for-Profit organization dedicated to keeping Native American cultures and traditions alive through current and future generations. This Native Nation Festival is an exciting visual and learning experience for all ages. This program is made possible, in part, with public funds from NYSCA’s Decentralization Program, administered regionally by the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and Humanities New York/Action Grant.
