Elmiran Ross Marvin was a scientist, engineer, and adventurer. He went on two expeditions to reach the North Pole with Commander Robert Peary, in 1906-1906 and 1908-1909. On the second journey, he tragically lost his life. This new exhibit highlights his adventures and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death, and features objects he collected in his travels as well as excerpts from the journals he kept during both voyages.
