Overview
Wings of Eagles Discovery Center is pleased to announce Project-based Learning Programs that will be held every 2 weeks on Saturdays at our facility from 10am-12pm. The classroom will accommodate 10 students. Should this program grow beyond this number, then we will gladly add in more time slots and more days. The Project-based programs use Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) principles to help children gain hands-on experience.
Program Fees are usually $20-30 per student per program for classroom instruction. Take home kits range from $12-$20 per student.
Students participate in a single topic with hands-on experiments. Most classes will also send students on with various materials for a continued learning experience.
Introducing our Project-based Learning classes Sleuth Series! The series is composed of 5 classes and each class targets a specific concept needed to fight crime! Sign up for all classes in the Sleuth Series and get access to our Murder at the Oilfields simulator as a bonus!
Classes are from 10am-12pm on the following dates:
January 30, 2021- Sleuth Series #1- Fingerprinting
February 13, 2021- Sleuth Series #2 – Trace Evidence
February 27, 2021- Sleuth Series #3 – DNA Analysis
