This evenT supported in part by Poets and Writers
Join Southeast Steuben County Library and Speculative Poetry Grand Master Akua Lezli Hope for a free, two-evening workshop focusing on tools for creating poetry that presents the unreal as real.
Speculative poetry is humanity’s primordial literature. Not only is it the first verse, it is the first way humans wrote about and recorded their imaginations. Nearly everyone knows some speculative poetry – from nursery rhymes, to Edgar Allen Poe to Puff the magic dragon, it’s been there all along. Hosted by the Southeast Steuben County Library Via Zoom.
