Join Christina Johnson for one or all of her introductory painting workshops. Students receive seasonal food items to create still lifes. Before painting starts students will learn to set up a basic color palette, review tools, be shown how to create a wash, and examine initial drawings from Christina and other contemporary artists.
Students will receive a 6″ x 6″ panel to create their delicious masterpiece. You will learn to predraw your still life using basic shapes, receive instruction on color mixing, alla prima painting and the use of painting mediums.
Supplies are included in the cost of the class
The class is from 10am – 3pm. We will break for lunch from 12pm – 1pm
