Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the first concert of the new year, Love & Romance on February 14, 7:30pm at the Community Arts Center! We present to you a special program filled with love. If you haven’t purchased your ticket, you can do so at CACLIVE.COM .
The central piece of the performance is Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. I grew up listening to this music, but most importantly, I had the chance to watch live the great Maestro rehearse and perform!
Another piece in the program is Songs of a Wayfarer which is an early work by Gustav Mahler. Our guest soloist is an upcoming brilliant singer Lisa Marie Rogali whom I had the pleasure to work with in the past.
The cherry on top of this program is the tuneful and well-known Vocalise by Sergei Rachmaninov as we start celebrating his 150th birthday this year.
