French Azilum Historical Site


The Susquehanna Summer Solstice Fest- June 14-19-   Wow, do we have a terrific celebration of the arts and community planned for this summer at the beautiful and historic French Azilum site and nearby towns in Bradford County, PA.   The core of the event is a plein air competion and show where up to 30 artists from throughout the northeast US will convene for a week of out-of-doors painting culminating in a show in Wyalusing on Sunday, June 19th.  The event also includes an amazing music fest at French Azilum with non-stop performances from noon to 10-ish – Friday to Sunday.
  Get your tickets for the music in advance via eventbrite on our website and save on already very affordable ticket price.  The fest also includes dance instruction, talks by authors, poets, artists, historians, ecologists, native Americans, and environmentalists on Saturday.  All the presentations will have relevance to our region.  Wait there’s more- a paddle on the river on Saturday morning- an easy but beautiful 8 mile paddle.   Check out the website for the full details and schedules.
