Finishing Funds

The 2017 grant year served as the final application round for the NYSCA Electronic Media & Film Finishing Funds Grant Program.

NYSCA 2017 Electronic Media & Film Finishing Funds Grants support artists in the completion/post production of film, video, sound, new media, and Web-based work. Grants from $500 to $2,500 are awarded annually.

Electronic Media and Film Presentation Funds Grants

NYSCA 2017 Electronic Media & Film Finishing Funds Grants are supported by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council).

The application deadline is February 13, 2017.

Applications are submitted online. Additionally, all submitted applications must include a completed budget form. The budget form is an Excel spreadsheet. If you don’t have Microsoft Office, there are a number of free options available such as Google Drive or Open Office.

Applying to grants can often be overwhelming, but we’ve put together some tips to make the process as simple as possible.

Grant Writing Tips

All applicants are encouraged to participate in an online webinar. Applicants will learn general information about the Finishing Funds grant program, eligibility, how to use the online application system, tips on creating a successful application, and more. All webinars must be registered for in advance. Please check back soon for a list of dates/times for webinars.
