In The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery

The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery serves as a primary resource for artistic and professional growth for emerging artists in the Southern Finger Lakes.

Fall_2015_Member_Exhibition_SliderMission: The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery provides a supportive environment that assists emerging artists as they grow professionally and explore their media through increased gallery experience, promotion, and collaborative mentorship that includes vital critique with established artists.

The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery features a wide range of exhibitions throughout the year including solo exhibitions, member exhibitions, and regional juried exhibitions. Learn more about Evelyn Peeler Peacock, the inspiration for the gallery.

Located at 79 W Market Street in the heart of Corning, NY’s Historic Gaffer District,The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery is housed in the famous Hawkes Glass Building. With two spacious street facing windows, 12 foot tall industrial ceilings, and a movable, telescoping light system, the gallery is ideally suited for showcasing the work of regional artists. A hanging system can accommodate wall art while pedestals throughout the space can accommodate non-hanging work. The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery features a variety of two- and three-dimensional media, including glass, wood, fiber-arts, clay, photography, painting, drawing, literary arts, jewelry, video, music, and more.

Funding from our generous supporters keeps our gallery open for artist member and juried exhibits, special programming, and folk life mini-exhibits. Thank you for shopping local art and for your support!

The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery is open weekdays from 9am – 5pm.

2020 Winter Member Show & Gallery Status

We will not be switching out gallery shows on November 16 & 17. There will be no pick up of work for the 2020 Fall Member Show and there will be no drop off of work for the 2020 Winter Show.
Although Steuben County was recent removed from the yellow zone on November 11, the case load continues to increase dramatically, and with Chemung County remaining in the yellow/orange zones, it’s clear there is still great spread of COVID throughout our communities. Because participating artists draw from all across the region, we are not risking bringing so many people into the gallery from so many different locations.
We will continue to update this page and notify artists as quickly as we’re able to make decisions.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Online Store

In addition to the virtual gallery, we have created an online store where all work from the current, Fall 2020 Member Show can now be purchased online. Customers can arrange for specific pick up dates of purchased work. Later this fall we will be adding a small works online store.

Please help spread the word about this new opportunity to support exhibiting artists by sharing the link for the online store:
