The Peeler Peacock’s debut solo artist is Bradford Leiby, a resident of Corning. As a child, he fell in love with the paintings of Claude Monet and collected books of Monet’s art along with Spider-Man comics. He attributes his artistic career to the encouragement of local artists and arts educators, and currently teaches art in programs such as the Rockwell Museum’s Alley Art Project. In addition to his exhibition at The Peeler Peacock, Brad’s work can be seen on Instagram @bradfordleiby.
Brad has been paired with artist mentor, GC Myers. Myers is a contemporary painter who is prominent regionally and abroad. Gary is represented by West End Gallery in Corning and Principle Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia. His work can be seen at www.gcmyers.com.
Brad’s solo exhibition, GOOF BALLS AND COOL BEANS, opens Friday, October 28, 2016 from 5 – 8pm and will be on view through November 23, 2016.
