Exhibiting Your Artwork


There are two primary ways to exhibit artwork in The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery at The ARTS Council: Exhibitions & Small Works


The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery hosts approximately 8 exhibitions each year. These exhibitions usually last 4-6 weeks and are typically comprised of the following:

  • 4 Member Shows
  • 2 Themed Show
  • 2 Solo Shows

Member Shows are open to any ARTS Council artist members. Artists can display 1 piece of wall hanging artwork and/or 2 pieces of three-dimensional artwork.

Themed shows are typically juried, though sometimes an invitational, and centered around a particular theme or media. If applicable, a call for artists will be issued several months before this exhibition.

Solo Shows occur twice a year, in Spring and Fall. These shows are selected through an application process that occurs each spring.

Submission Process

 There is no advance submission or jury of work for member exhibitions, only for themed or solo shows.

Artwork Drop Off and Pick Up Dates

There are specific days for pick up and drop off for member and juried shows, and while there is no advance approval or submission for member shows, artists must complete an online drop-off form before bringing in work. This is a Google Form made live shortly before the drop-off dates.

Small Works

The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery welcomes ARTS Council artist members to bring in Small Works for display on a rotational basis. Small Works include items such as prints, cards, books, jewelry, small ceramics, and more. For a complete list of eligible items, including quantity amounts, please see the Small Works Guidelines.

Small Works are rotated on a quarterly basis during which there is a drop off/pick up period for new work to be dropped off and old work to be picked up.

With the gallery renovations recently completed, we are now welcoming Small Works back to the gallery by appointment only. To schedule a time to drop off, please contact the Gallery Curator at chris@eARTS.org.

We will move to a regularly scheduled quarterly drop off later this spring.

Before dropping off work, artists must provide information about your work by completing the 2024 Small Works Drop Off Form. Small Works cannot be accepted unless this form is completed.

All work must be picked up during the following quarterly drop off/pick up period, during which you can drop off new work. Please be on the lookout for an updated schedule.
