There are two primary ways to exhibit artwork in The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery at The ARTS Council: Exhibitions and Small Works. See below for more information.
Exhibitions
The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery hosts approximately 8 exhibitions each year. These exhibitions usually last 4-6 weeks and are typically comprised of the following:
- 4 Member Shows
- 2 Themed Shows
- 2 Solo Shows
Member Shows are open to any ARTS Council artist members. Artists can display 1 wall-hanging piece of art or 2 three-dimensional pieces. Note: Triptychs and Diptychs count as one piece of work. Not yet a member? Click here to find out more!
Themed shows are typically juried, though sometimes invitational, and center around a particular theme or media. If applicable, a call for artists will be issued several months before the exhibition.
Solo Shows occur twice a year, in Spring and Fall. These shows are selected through an application process that occurs each spring.

Submission Process
There is no advance submission or jury of work for member exhibitions, only for themed or solo shows.
Artwork Drop-off and Pick-up Dates
There are specific days for pickup and drop-off for member and juried shows; there is no advance approval or submission for member shows, but artists MUST complete an online drop-off form before bringing in work. This is a Google Form made live shortly before the drop-off dates.

Mini Exhibits
Mini Exhibits are themed shows in the small works gallery space at The ARTS Council. Artist members are invited to submit work inspired by each theme. This is an opportunity for small-scale artists to display work, experiment with new media, and get inspired by a new topic.
About Mini Exhibits:
- Mini-Exhibits will be held in The ARTS Council’s Small Works Gallery Space.
- Each exhibit will have a different theme. Upcoming themes can be found here.
- Submitting work in a Mini-Exhibit will not affect the number of items you can have in the Small Works Gallery Space.
- Sales will be processed as outlined in the Small Works Guidelines.
- Not For Sale work will be accepted.
- Limit 1 submission per artist.
Submission Guidelines:
- Work must meet the Mini-Exhibit theme.
- A submission form must be filled out before dropping off work.
- This is not a juried show. Once you submit your form, you are accepted into the show and can deliver your work on the scheduled drop-off days.
- All media is accepted.
- Work can be no bigger than 8×8 inches.
- Work must be labeled with the artist’s name/initials, title, and price.
- Hanging work must be ready to hang with a wire.
If work does not meet these guidelines, items may not be displayed.

Small Works
The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery welcomes The ARTS Council artist members to bring in Small Works for display on a rolling basis. Small Works include prints, cards, books, jewelry, small ceramics, and more. A complete list of eligible items, including quantity, can be found here.
To submit small works for display, artists MUST complete the 2026 Small Works Drop-off Form and have an updated membership. Small Works will not be accepted unless this form is completed.
