The ARTS Council is collaborating with the Islamic Association of the Finger Lakes to bring the public a documentary and discussion series using films about the Muslim experience. Each documentary will be followed by a facilitated discussion.

This is a safe space to learn about the Muslim experience, ask questions of your Muslim neighbors, and enjoy getting to know one another.

List of Documentaries and Dates:

1. American Muslims: Facts vs Fiction – January 30, 2020
2. Prince Among Slaves – In Honor of Black History Month – February 27, 2020
3. Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story – March 26, 2020
4. Cities of Light – Spain – April 16, 2020

All films will be screened at the Islamic Association of the Finger Lakes, 499 Hickory Grove Rd., Horseheads, NY from 6-8pm. The screenings will take place on the lower level of the Mosque.

These events are free and open to the public.

Registration is requested, but not required.
