The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and New Heights Dance Theater invite you to The Gathering of Dancers at the Arnot Mall in Horseheads, New York on Saturday, April 25, 2014 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm.
The Gathering of Dancers, a National Dance Week participating event, features traditional and world dance genres from the ethnic groups that make up our community. This year includes folk dancers from African, Bavarian, Ukrainian, Seneca Indian Nation and English Country Dance traditions. Simply watch, or come up on stage and learn some of the dances! Instruction will be provided. Children and novices are welcome.

1:00pm – 1:30pm – Wassa Pan Afrika Dance Ensemble (Ithaca, New York)
1:45pm -2:15pm – English Country Dance(Binghamton, New York)
2:30pm – 3:00pm – Allegany River Dancers, Seneca Nation (Salamanca, New York)
3:15pm – 3:45pm – Ukrainian Dancers (Elmira Heights, New York)
4:00pm – 4:30pm – Enzian Bavarian Folk Band and Dancers (Cleveland, New York)
