I am constantly amazed at our human need to create. It permeates everything we do and everything we are. The need to take the world around us and transform it with a piece of ourselves is the most essential part of being human - and the most universal. I am Ann Cady and I own ARC Photographic Images in Elmira, a photo studio that specializes in art documentation. Whether it's for a show, a gallery, or a potential buyer on your website, your work should be portrayed both accurately and beautifully. • Profile picture of Wynn Yarrow
    Wynn Yarrow

Wynn Yarrow has been called an artist's artist. Her work the landscape of dreams is known for its high color and exuberant emotion. Best known for miniatures. Yarrow has recently expanded into larger, bolder work, completing two 36X48 murals for the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Her work explores transition and metaphor. Everything is always changing. Nothing truly exists as it appears. As humans, we simultaneously seek change and desire stability. That is the paradox. A solo retrospective of Yarrows work at Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College, Rochester, NY examined the artists spiritual journey through four floors of art. Her work is in the collection of Volgograd University, Volgograd, Russia and has been exhibited in ten other colleges and universities. Yarrows work has been exhibited at eight museums and cultural centers, including the annual celebration of dark skies program, Night Visions, at the Coconino Cultural Center, Flagstaff, Arizona. Her work was chose by John O'Hern for inclusion in Representing Representation at the Arnot Art Museum, Elmira, NY. Yarrow is an adjunct faculty member of Penn College's Graphic Design Department and the ongoing artist-in-resident at the Rockwell Museum, Corning, NY. Wyann Yarrow has been represented by West End Gallery for 29 years.
