Southern Finger Lakes Artist Fellowship
The Southern Finger Lakes (SFLX) Artist Fellowship is an unrestricted, cash award for artists living in The ARTS Council’s service region of Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga counties.
Unburdened by the need to fulfill specific project requirements, artists can focus solely on their artmaking. Free to pursue their creative activities, this fellowship empowers artists to take risks and allows their unique voice and vision to flourish.
The SFLX Artist Fellowship is funded and supported by The ARTS Council’s Endowment.

Eligibility
Artists of any discipline and residing in The ARTS Council’s service region of Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, or Tioga County are eligible to apply. ARTS Council Artist Members residing outside these counties are also eligible to apply.
Artists must also be 18 years or older and cannot be enrolled in a full time, degree-seeking program. Artists applying to NYSCA or ARTS Council administered grant programs are still eligible to apply.
Up to four artists will be awarded fellowships each year.

Online submission is required for all applications. The application portal closes at 11:59pm on the application deadline and all applications consist of short answers, narratives, and support materials.
