$315,000 to Support Libraries, Poets, Painters, Cultural Organizations and More!

The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council), in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), is pleased to announce recipients of the 2026 NYSCA Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) funded Community Arts, Teaching Artist, and Individual Artist grant programs. The SCR program is made possible by NYSCA with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

78 artists, organizations and towns from Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga counties received 91 grants totaling $315,000 for arts and cultural programming taking place in 2026. This funding is a continued investment in creatives and the greater community.

Erika Mallin, Executive Director of NYSCA, said,

“The New York State Council on the Arts is so proud to support the vital work of The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and these creative initiatives across Cattaraugus, Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler, and Tioga counties. A huge congratulations to all of this year’s grantees, we look forward to watching these vibrant, diverse projects take shape in the year ahead.”
